I was working the night before in the 1st Battalion, and sometime about 8:15 or so in the morning we got a call to Lispenard and Church for a gas leak in the street. We were there for a while checking on the gas leak, and then we heard the loud roar of the plane come over, and we turned around and we looked and we saw the plane coming down, heading south towards the Trade Center, and made a direct hit on the Trade Center.

La notte prima stavo lavorando al 1° battaglione, e intorno alle 8:15 o giù di lì nella mattina ricevemmo una chiamata per una fuga di gas in strada tra Lispenard e Church. Eravamo lì da qualche momento controllando la fuga di gas, e dopo sentimmo il forte frastuono dell’aereo che ci passava sopra, e ci girammo e guardammo e vedemmo l’aereo venire giù, dirigendosi a sud verso il WTC, e facendo un impatto diretto contro il WTC.
