The results WILL be published in a peer reviewed journal. We are finalizing some confirmatory experiments that are consistent with expectations of how “ancient DNA or archeologically derived” DNA should be analyzed. If we don’t take those expected steps (which are somewhat lengthy to carry out) then the peer reviewers will not accept we have gone by accepted practice.
I think there is a phenomena here on earth that is not, by our definition, “human”. This specimen is not the best place to focus our efforts.

Quindi, le analisi arriveranno. Si è pure incazzato con me perché nella mail precedente aveva capito che volevo che mi inviasse per e-mail le analisi (e per giunta, gratuitamente, quando l'articolo sarà a disposizione a pagamento).
